New! monthly POLYPHONIC SUNDAY: One Sunday a month at 11am, come and enjoy classical sacred music (by Palestrina, Byrd, Victoria etc.) sung by the Newman Consort in the very liturgical context for which it was composed, i.e. the Extraordinary Form Roman Mass. :

5 February, 19 February, 25 March, 22 April, 13 May, 3 June, 1 July 2012.

Stay for coffee or bring packed lunch and meet like-minded Catholic families and individuals after Holy Mass in our parish hall. If you don't attend our Mass every Sunday, we recommend you come for this monthly beautiful occasion! All Masses preceded and followed by Confessions.

Saturday 4th February (S Andrew Corsini): 11.20am; St Margaret Clitherow prayer group for ladies, at 10am at St William of York Church – packed lunch at 12noon, confessions/direction from 1pm.
Also, at St John the Evangelist’s Church in Bath, 2pm: wedding of Mr Antony Lehain and Miss Lauren Mills: all welcome at the polyphonic Mass (Palestrina's Missa Brevis).

Sunday 5th February (Septuagesima Sunday): Polyphonic Sung Mass by the Schola Abelis (Missa dominicalis by Victoria and Du Fay’s motet Ave Regina caelorum) at 11am; and 5pm in Flitwick (with confessions 4.30pm-4.55pm), both Masses followed by refreshments in parish hall.
